Good country location, decent sized room with good en suite. Good breakfast.
Room getting to the point where it needed redecorating. Headboard was grubby. We were disappointed to find there was no food being served the night we were staying, but did find that was mentioned on the website. It would still have been helpful if this had been pointed out in the booking.

I had arrived back to Gatwick after two flights and wanted to sleep before driving home. The Plough is a traditional pub twelve very country miles from the airport and I thought a much better option than a standard airport hotel. I enjoyed a full English breakfast, although a number of appetising options were offered.
The building has all of the quirkiness of an ancient building.. the rooms are accessed by a metal fire escape and the pub's toilets are across the yard, although the ensuite bathroom was modern in a traditional style. The bed was comfortable enough for me, travelling alone, but would have been a bit squishy had there been two of us.

Lovely cooked breakfast. Could have offered more variety eg. Cereals, yoghurt.
The furniture in the room was shabby, only 4 wire hangers in the wardrobe and the television was hanging sideways on the wall and it didn't work.
