All was good, but the other twin bed in Room 3 felt like a water-bed so I slept in the other.
Central heating in Room 3 did not liven up as the first storm and cold snap kicked in, but there was an electric plug-in heater available so no real complaint.

Location was great as it’s just across the road from the theatre, which is where we were going. The room was comfortable and good value. We had been warned about possible noise but on a Thursday this wasn’t a problem.
When the pub isn’t open you have to come and go via the fire escape. We weren’t expecting to have to do this when we came back from the theatre at 10:20 hoping for a drink, but everything was closed up already. Not sure if this is usual.

Wrens is a budget accomodation over a pub in middle of Leeds; the location is excellent, can walk anywhere, and the value for money is excellent. We took a 5 bed option of the 3 floors above the pub, basically sleeping in 5 single beds. Its quite basic, but has all the essentials, 2x toilets, shower, kitchen etc and for a group of lads this is all you need. Pub is good, decent beer and prices and staff are really friendly and helpful. We didn't have any problems with noise or anything - although were potentially arriving home after it had stopped.
They do not supply toiletries and toilet roll in short supply! Bring your own for these. There are a lot of stairs - minimum 2 floors for the upper bedrooms, its old fashioned but for the money its worth it.

Staff were really nice, location was great.
In major need of an update. Bathroom smell of drains, broken pictures in the walls, bed was really uncomfortable and just a bit shabby
