The hotel was in a great location however parking was off site. We had breakfast which had a good variety.

Great central location just down the road from the car park with 20% discount for guests. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and were happy to make up another bed. Breakfast was good.
Downside: some of the furniture was a bit grubby and showed definite signs of wear, for what was advertised this was not what I expected, however the price we paid was fairly reasonable and maybe that is why. I was also disappointed with the tea/coffee provisions as there was only 1 peppermint, 1 everyday and 1 fruit tea and 1 pack of biscuits provided and only a few sachets of milk and sugar (not that I take sugar but…). There was more on offer with the coffee provisions but only 2 cups worth. I had booked the room for 2 people and it is supposed to take 3 so we had to go begging from the front desk.
Another issue was the bathroom. The door didn’t go all the way to the floor so you could hear (and smell) everything from the bathroom. The door felt like you were going to break it when you closed it. There was nowhere to hang anything (clothes, towels etc.) and the water temperature in the shower had no cap on it so I burnt my feet trying to adjust the temperature - only a giant would be able to reach the taps from outside the bath and the temperature was too hot even on the cold setting. That being said I would consider staying again depending on the price
