We spent a wonderful week at Hotel Triton in Istanbul with our two teenagers and had a fantastic stay!
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious, and our family suite was perfect for the four of us. All the staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Istanbul’s main historical landmarks, which allowed us to explore so much of the city on foot.
One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast: generous, varied and served with a magnificent panoramic view over Istanbul from the rooftop. A truly lovely way to start the day!
We highly recommend Hotel Triton to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially families looking for a comfortable, welcoming hotel in a great location. We would happily stay here again!

Excellent location, short walking distance to sights. Very helpful staff with good recommendations for a local guide. Fantastic breakfast buffet with wonderful views of Istanbul and waterways.

The hotel was nothing like the reviews I had read. As soon as I arrived, I asked reception to send up some tissues, but they told me, “Unfortunately, we only have toilet paper.” Unfortunately, the service really was terrible.
None of the usual hotel amenities were provided throughout our stay. They brought us toothbrushes only once, and their quality was, quite honestly, as bad as it could possibly be.
What bothered me most was the terrible quality of the bed. It is difficult to overstate just how uncomfortable it was.
The breakfast was acceptable, but certainly not excellent. It was good on some days, while on others the food seemed far from fresh.
The only reason I gave the hotel a score of 6 is that they messaged me on WhatsApp and asked me to give them a 10.
The hotel staff, especially the women working in the dining area, were genuinely lovely, polite and kind.
