Lovely location, hotel was modern and clean. Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast and staff were lovely too (especially Dale). Would definitely return as good value for money. Never used the pool but would have loved to if we’d had a longer stay
The only criticism was that I asked for a room maybe on the ground floor as both my parents have disabilities and disabled badges but the room we got was on the 2nd floor (albeit there was a lift) but the location of the room was a long distance from the lift and you had to go up and down steps and long corridors to get to it. There weren’t many people staying there and it’s a huge hotel so I am sure there would have been other options! The other minor things was there was 3 of us in the room but they only gave enough towels, cups etc for two.

I went downstairs after a long drive from sandhurst, to play some pool get a drink, manager, drink server said last drink, it was my first, and I said why. He said because we are closing as there is no one in hear, so u said I am in here with my friend and I ha e paid good money to be here so why are you closing, I should get the same service just because 2 people here no excuse. I was swearing and frustrated admittedly but never threaten once. He said to my friend that he has had it all week and my friend was like but she is right and he agreed the manager behind my back. Anyway he called police and said we couldn't stay after driving all the way fro sandhurst and after having a really stressful 2 weeks, he had no hospitality, and was so rude to me, did not give a shit, 3 police officers arrives and already told them I was gonna go anyway as he upset me. So they came up to room I had no argument as want to go anyway and left the hotel. I have stayed in this hotel before but with different staff and they were so much better run there. Disappointed is an understatement, it was o ly about 9:30 and a Friday just to add. Not happy at all, was my favourite hotel in Bournemouth hense why we paid the expense of the best room. One big joke, and waste of fuel and time
