I like the proximity of the hotel to the beach as well as the water front.
I also like the master bedroom with enough bed to accommodate all of us.
I also enjoyed the ambience of the hotel environment.
I also liked the fragrance of the shower and wash hand gel
Tissue paper was not enough and looks inferior.
Paying exhorbitant fee for car park differently which i think should have been covered up by hotel booking charge.

I liked the buffet breakfast (booked through groupon) , i liked access to the bathroom in hotel room. I loved the balcony view of the sea front, it was amazing. There was umbrella borrowing facility charged at £2 or £3, the staff at the buffet breakfast at carlton hotel were lovely, one man at the buffet breakfast really gave me a guide of bournemouth touring places, we had a lovely conversation! He was so nice and professional. The staff at the carlton hotel restaurant were nice, some of the staff at East cliff hotel were lovely.
I liked the luggage storage facility, i was able to leave my luggage there on the first day of arriving before checking into hotel, also left my luggage at the storage facilities in hotel lobby, on the day of leaving. So i could go to the beach etc
I liked that the hotel is not too far from the beach. I liked that the hotel has lifts, and comfy sofa / chairs to relax and sit down at reception. There were toilets on the ground floor, as you walk down stairs.
I liked that we could use Wifi for internet.
I like that we had tea / coffee, buiscuit (refreshments) and kettle with mugs and spoons to use.
The dressing table was useful, with a mirror. They had a hair dryer and iron board available.
The bathroom had mirror to use. There was towels available after shower. Showergel & shampoo available in bathroom, toilet rolls in there. There were other neighbouring hotels nearby, and boscombe beach & boscombe pier is not too far. I could see bournemouth pier from my balcony, and boscombe pier from my balcony.
Clean bed sheets, duvet, and clean pillows when we arrived.
Old carpet, but thick and good quality.
One of the plug sockets was a foreign plug sockets, which we couldn't use.
There were other plug sockets to use for charging my phone etc , in the hotel room.
I like that they had a fan available, for the hot weather.
There were drawers available to put my belongings/ clothes away neatly.
When i booked my 5nights through groupon, i had breakfast included for 1adult, 1child. However i'm a bit dissapointed with booking.com, there was no breakfast included in the booking, also i should have been charged less, since i didn't receive the family room which was booked on booking.com, the same twin beds room was kept for my convenience, but i should have been charged less in that case, i thought i was charged alot for 4nights in the same room (I stayed 9 nights in total) previous booking was on groupon. also when i checked out of the hotel on 25th August, i had my luggage ready to leave the room, just before cleaners came, and one of the staff there decided to charge me £15 late check out fee, when there were no customers arriving. which i was really dissapointed with. I had already told the staff at reception, that i'm getting my luggage ready to leave, and i was running little late. The asian man with glasses, spoke to me at reception and said i have time to leave before the cleaners come. I think i was unfairly charged, on my day of leaving. Ì managed to put all our rubbish in a black bin bag outside the room door, when leaving. also the bathroom was a bit dusty by the windows, when i stayed there and was constantly wiping the floor, there was black dust falling from under the bath edge. Every time the floor gets wet i had to wipe with tissue, there needs to be a mop in the bathroom. also dissapointed that my first 5nights of staying there through groupon, the breakfast included, we had to walk over to another hotel (carlton hotel) for buffet breakfast, when East Cliff hotel already has a canteen area/ restaurant downstairs, but it was closed. also pool facilities was not available at east cliff hotel, these pools were closed off, instead we were told to walk over to Carlton hotel to use Swimming pool facility.
