It's a bit of a hike from the train station with the luggage, but once you get there, the location is fantastic. I got a single room. I love that there was a little desk and chair by the window and the view was great -- you could see up to the rose garden, and of course from the rose garden I could see my room, so that was pretty cool. The breakfast was excellent and a real treat considering the cost of meals in Switzerland. The room was quiet and comfortable, and there was even a little sitting area set up, which I think was on another twin bed.
The staff was friendly but because they're managing a bar/restaurant, they're sometimes not immediately available.
No issues at all with this place -- I'd stay again.

Location is great. On the main street in Bern, not far from the river and the bear pit.
Room was narrow with just enough room for two beds end to end.
Breakfast was very limited. You get a large plate with small portions of meat, cucumber, olives, cheese on. Coffee apears to be dried granules with some hot water added.
