We loved the location of the hotel and the staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Rome is full of history (and people). We enjoyed our stay very much

We had an almost good stay at Parlamento Boutique Hotel. It was central to most tourist locations and surrounded by shopping areas and food places.
On our last morning, one of the male staff members overseeing the breakfast area took a photo of us while we were eating, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Throughout our stay, we also felt that we were being closely watched whenever we had breakfast.
We are unsure whether this was because my brother had a large plate of meat or because of our ethnicity, as we are darker-skinned Asians. Regardless of the reason, the experience left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. We found this behavior inappropriate, especially since we were simply enjoying the breakfast provided to hotel guests.
