It was very good value for money. The proprietors worked very hard to make us feel at home.
There was plenty of car Parking, the place was easy to find and very close to the M6.
It was also, almost exactly half way between Dumfries where we had been onholiday and our home, so just the right place to break our journey!

In a narrow street but with plenty of parking at the rear.
I have limited mobility so I didn’t like the stairs.

The place was lovely. Food great room was comfortable and nice. Could do with a fan in there.
The staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience really which wasn’t great. There was a young girl on the Saturday night who was lovely couldn’t do enough for us.
Need to be a bit more friendly when your greeting and serving customers these people are what keeps your business going.

"The owners were excellent! We arrived from our bike ride, wet and cold and they helped us get comfortable and our clothes dry."
