Location was great. The pub downstairs was lovely

The room had a fabulous view over the River Lune, it was warm and cosy with a very comfortable bed, clean towels and plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home whilst staying there. The bar area is large with great choices of drinks, the food and portions are good value and we enjoyed eating there.
It would be good to have breakfast there but there was a list of great local places to eat which were just a few minutes walk away. We were worried about parking there but we did not experience any problems dring our three day stay. So there was nothing that we disliked at all!

Great communication with hotel pre visit, as coming from North America.
Located beside the tidal river, close to Lancaster castle, pub downstairs (convenient for supper), and staff helpful the next day with storing luggage. No complaints
