Being based on the Zambezi is special. Elephants wandered past on the morning I left. Staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating; and it was a cost effective option for me (I was in a permanent tent - it had lifting, electricity and patchy wifi).
While others have commented positively about the food at the restaurant, I thought it was very ordinary. Restaurant service slow and patchy despite not being busy at all.

Great and calm location near the river Zambezi, we slept in a tent with quite comfortable beds. There were a lot of mosquitos but we got the spray (mosquito killer) which worked absolutely reliably. The shared toilet facilities were relatively clean and had sufficient capacity. Breakfast was included in the price of the accommodation, and it was brilliant – hot and cold dishes, a wide selection. We were happy here.

access to our room was very abruptly without informing us when cleaners will access our room.
