Tolle Unterkunft direkt am Tchobi-Fluss auf namibischer Seite. Wir waren 3 Nächte da und hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Tolle Aussicht von unserer privaten Terrasse auf den Fluss, tolle Safaris, sowohl mit dem Boot (vor allen Dingen das mit den zwei Stockwerken, wo man oben auf den Liegen liegen konnte) als auch die Game Drives auf der Botswana-Seite waren fantastisch. Wir waren begeistert.
Der Guide, der uns mit dem Boot gefahren hat, den Namen habe ich leider vergessen, aber da gab es zwei mit demselben Namen, die schreiben sich nur anders. Das war wirklich ganz, ganz toll und hat riesig Spaß gemacht. War echt ein Highlight für uns.
Und auch das Essen war natürlich fantastisch, sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen. Das Spa war ganz toll: tolle Massagen, preislich günstig. Die Unterkunft selbst ist natürlich nicht günstig, aber es ist es absolut wert und sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank. Hier war tatsächlich alles super. Gab nichts zu bemängeln.

- sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes & hilfsbereites Personal
- sehr schöne Lodge-Anlage mit kleiner Hängebrücke zu den Chalets (Zugang mancher Chalets auch ohne Hängebrücke möglich)
- mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Lodge & Chalets in Anlehnung an die Kultur & Natur von Namibia
- ausgiebige Ausstattung der Chalets und sehr sauber
- sehr gute Versorgung an leckerem Essen & Getränken
- durch Lodge organisierte Safari-Ausflüge möglich; insbesondere die Boat Cruise mit Bernard ist empfehlenswert, da er sehr engagiert war und mit viel Wissen beeindruckte

Beautiful villas - right on the water and very nicely decorated. Same with the rest of the lodge. Stunning views from the viewing deck.
Service at the SPA was very bad. Late for all our oppointments - short on some and overrun on others.
Prices of white wines on the winelist redicously - 7 to 10 times the retail price of what you pay in a bottle store.

Beautiful position on the river. Luxury accommodation and marvellous food. The boat trips were great - saw lots of animals and birds and our guide was good. Has a spa with friendly staff. Lots of lounge areas. Pool was lovely. The wait staff are lovely and friendly.
Booking.com say there is aircon - there is not. This was annoying to say the least as this was one reason we booked here. The shower water could not be regulated during the day and it was too hot.
Our game trip into Chobe was disappointing. Not because we didn’t see animals - we saw many elephants and birds - it it was rushed and short. After going through two immigration points to get there we felt rather let down. Perhaps if there were specific favoured guides it would be better for the customer. The boat trips were excellent.
This is an expensive place but the hassle of the Immigration was a bit much - had to exit Namibia and enter Botswana to get to Chobe Park and then do the reverse on the way back for a 2 hour game drive.
If you don’t like suspension bridges, and I don’t, ask for a room that does not require using this. We didn’t know this was an option until too late. I’m sure some people would love the challenge but not if you have vertigo!!
