Welcome drink was a nice touch
The room was very tired and the price of breakfast was high so we skipped that option.

Lovely hotel, nice room, lashings hot water , very centrally situated. Excellent breakfast, restaurant staff exceptional.
Reception staff good but not so friendly or accommodating. As an example when checking out couldn’t buy a coffee as all check outs had to be completed first although there were staff members doing nothing. To many rules and regulations.

Fantastic location, right in the middle of Pitlochry. All the charm of the Scottish Highlands within this beautiful hotel with loads of character. Room was spacious and beds comfortable.
The breakfast needs improvement. We went for breakfast within the last 30 minutes of serving. At that stage the dining room was still full of people but we got the impression of declining service and cleanliness.
In our bathroom the extractor fan was not working and water splashed all over because of the absence of a shower door.
Although the hotel has its own parking area, it was constantly occupied.
