Staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean. Shower was lovely and warm and powerful, although a shower screen rather than a curtain always preferable.
We stayed for two nights, both of which were interrupted by noisy people in room 102. May have been different guests. First night was relatively brief but second night went on for a couple of hours. There were clearly at least 3 people in the room laughing, swearing and talking very loudly. I knocked on the door in the early hours and spoke to a man but it had little to no effect.
As a result we subsequently telephoned reception who spoke with the room straight away. The talking levels improved slightly but feel they should have been told to move to the lounge to continue their 'party'.
On a lighter note the bar didn't have a cocktail shaker to make my favourite drink (despite having the ingredients).

Had Dinner here on the Friday. The food was good, however I think due to the time of year, a skeleton staff were serving & clearing, so the service was a bit slow, but understandable, but that said the staff were very polite & friendly.

The staff were pleasant.
Tired hotel. Looking at the outside it looked promising but inside was old. Even the lift didn’t work. It could do either updating.
