Location is excellent, right on beach front, and great ocean views. It had most of facilities we like but sadly its well overdue for a good deep clean and refresh
Unfortunately our time here was clouded with problems, exhaust fan in ensuite didn't work nor did light above mirror so it steamed up quite badly to point of unusable, had to use back bathroom just to use a mirror. Mould in many places. Coffee machine not what was advertised, and no milk frother and no pods, but basic coffee sachets provided, which makes little sense if you provide a coffee machine. TV in lounge area so old you cant stream todays streaming services, but bedroom tv was ok for that at end of our day. Inside lounge comfortable but stained. Outside lounges old and broken webbing. lots of cracked tilework. Balcony locks broken and main door needed slamming to shut and latch. Dishwasher was dirty inside and out, and timber surround rotted. Because we had to use back bathroom we also used second toilet which only flushes once, then have to wait about half hour to refill and do second flush, not good at all, and lucky was just the two of us. We saw it advertised as 5 stars, the views are great, but sadly the room we had fell way short. If we were booked longer than 2 nights and not on a weekend would have requested room change or cancellation. Very disappointing overall.
