The property is absolutely stunning, very luxurious, beautiful grounds, rooms and pools. The hotel also has its own pear for snorkelling.
The restaurants are good, the buffet is ok, feels like a school cafeteria, some days the food is nice and other days it’s not so great. There is a lot of choice so you will find something.
There are two small children’s pools which would be perfect if they were reserved for children. However, each day adult guests with no children would take up all of the space around the baby pools. On one day two Middle aged guests put there floats into the baby pool and were drinking. This was disappointing as it was our babies first holiday and we were only able to get a space at the baby pool a couple of times and after 4pm. A member of staff did ask these particular guests why they were there, and they just laughed. Also important to note that all of the big pools always had space and pool loungers free.
Another point to make is that in regards to food there is 0 catering in the main buffet for small children. Usually in this calibre of hotel they will have a small kids section of the buffet, this hotel doesn’t have that so it was a struggle to find suitable food for our 11 month old. We mentioned this to guest relations and asked if we could have a few pots of yogurt for our babies breakfast, they said they could provide this but never delivered despite being asked several times. This was disappointing, but there is plenty of food if your kids are a bit older and don’t have any sodium restrictions etc.
Despite all of this we really enjoyed our holiday and we would return when our child is a bit older.

Facilities and Location ,I accidentally lost my phone during my stay, and the team found it and kept it safely in the Lost & Found until I was able to collect it.
As repeat guests, this review is particularly disappointing for us to write. This was certainly not our first stay at Steigenberger; we have stayed here several times over the years and have always recommended the hotel to our family and friends because of its exceptional service, professionalism, and high standards.
Unfortunately, this visit was very different from our previous experiences. It genuinely felt as though there had been a significant change in management and overall service culture, as the hotel’s standards appear to have declined considerably. Most disappointing of all was the attitude and level of service from some members of the staff, which was far below what we have come to expect from Steigenberger.
As loyal and returning guests, we sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and that the hotel can restore the level of service and hospitality that originally made us return and recommend it to others.
