Really good reception and greeting by all the staff, in all departments. The bar staff, although very, very busy, kept on top of the service and the drinks were excellent. The bar was full and buzzing with noise, and we wondered about sound travelling to the bedroom, but the soundproofing was really good. In fact, the room was quiet. The morning breakfast was exceptional, and everything was cooked to perfection.
The bathroom sealant needs re-sealing, and the quad shower doors don't close completely, but this is not untypical of any shower quad screening I've used elsewhere.

Excellent location. Our room was comfortable and clean. Lovely staff.
Parking was a little more expensive than we expected. Our room was a bit small.

Extremely well situated near to a variety of points of interest. The breakfast was good, fresh and tasty with a variety of hot dishes. Other food eaten in the hotel restaurant was also very good.
The staff were lovely.
The hotel was quite tatty upstairs with stained carpet and paint that needed refreshing.
The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the toilet was not clean and the skirting boarder was dusty in the bathroom. When I mentioned the toilet issue, the staff member was very apologetic and sent someone to clean it.
Unfortunately, neither of us slept as there was a droning noise from what I was told was a kitchen fan which hadn’t been switched off. It was quite warm in the room, but opening the window wasn’t an option due to the noise from the fan which was clearly audible even with ear plugs in.
