The location of this property is perfect for accessing most of the sites within the historic city centre, all within around max. 40 minutes walk. There are plenty of taxis around if you prefer not to walk.
The hotel is on a narrow cobbled street, away from the busier areas, so taxi drop-off and pick-ups occurred at the end of the road.
Very clean, comfortable and quiet suite with complimentary water, tea bags (no milk) and 2 pods of coffee replenished each day.
We only had breakfast there on our first morning. Lots of sweet pastries on offer but we requested scrambled eggs which were cooked for us. The breakfast wasn't to our taste for 15 euros pp, so we tended to eat out each day.
There is someone on reception generally between 08.00 and 20.00 each day for assistance, if required.
You will need to use stairs to access the rooms, although there is also a very small lift (may fit one person).
A door code provides access to the property.
The fridge is packed with 'mini bar' items, so not much space to cool any personal drinks!

Location, some original architecture, with some modern upgrades.
Simple things like an iron or steamer, umbrellas wasn’t available nor was it made available when asked unlike the 2 other places we stayed at. If two guests show up for a 4 night stay they should provide more then one espresso pod for the coffee machine, we did ask for more, then were given 3 extra. For the whole stay.

Unfortunately, I was not able to stay at the property I originally booked. Two days before our arrival, the host contacted me to inform me that we were being moved to a different apartment on Via del Corso, which I did not choose or book.
When I asked to cancel so I could book a property of my choice, I was told I was not eligible for a refund. As a result, we were forced to stay in an apartment we had not booked, on a very busy shopping street. The location was loud and not relaxing at all, with no nearby piazzas to sit and enjoy a coffee we had to walk at least 15–20 minutes to find a pleasant area.
The original property I booked was advertised as being 2–3 minutes walking distance to everything, which was the main reason I chose it. This last-minute change completely altered our experience and started the stay with disappointment.
The apartment itself had very basic facilities. There was no coffee or tea provided, and the bed was extremely thin and uncomfortable we could feel the coils through the mattress.
Overall, the stay did not match what was booked or expected, and the luck of flexibility and no refund option made the situation frustrating.
