While situated just a stones throw from the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia and a short walk to the trams that take you directly to the Galata bridge, what truly sets it apart was the exceptional service. From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left, the staff embodied “misafirperverlik” or the sacred guest. My wife and I loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here on our next visit to Istanbul.
The property itself is beautifully appointed from tip to toe. There are so many little touches that make you feel like you’re staying in someone’s home instead of an impersonal hotel. There’s so much to love, to delight in, and feel blown away by. Loved the rooftop bar, the cosy little library nook, even the elevator is magical.
The only thing I disliked was that I couldn’t stay longer. Perhaps the beds could have been a bit firmer but really that’s a personal preference.

Staff extremely helpful and welcoming.
Location excellent.
Hotel is small stylish and quirky, mixing contemporary and vintage designs.
Breakfast offered a selection of homemade breads/pastries fruit and delicious yoghurt.
Rooftop terrace was a real treat with a fantastic view of the Blue Mosque.
