Limonaia

Excellent location & very clean- comfy beds and pillows

Nothing

Very central. Rooms where very clean, decor was pretty and roof terrace was great. Staff super nice and helpful

Bed sizes, double beds were small queens. If you are both tall, it’s an issue

Great location, stunning decor

I really appreciated the property’s central location, which made it easy and convenient to explore Barcelona. The room was clean, comfortable, and appeared to have been recently renovated, so I felt very at ease there. I also really liked the small balcony with a lovely view — it created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected my experience. First, right before checking out, the door to my room got jammed and I couldn’t open it for quite some time, which caused a lot of stress. It seemed like there might be a problem with the hinges or alignment. The more serious issue was that I accidentally left my ring in the shower. I clearly remember placing it inside the shower while getting ready. As soon as I left the hotel and got into the taxi, I realized it and immediately sent a message through Booking, asking the property to keep it safe. I also asked a friend who lives in Barcelona to go to the hotel and pick it up. Unfortunately, the hotel never replied to my messages, and when my friend called and later arrived, he was told that nothing had been found. The ring was very valuable to me, and it was upsetting that there was no proper assistance or follow-up from the property. Lastly, after making the booking, I started receiving suspicious messages from unknown (mostly Indian) numbers asking me to “confirm my reservation” through external links and websites, requesting my card details. I had already paid for the booking directly through Booking, so I found these messages concerning. They stated that no charges would be made, but it was unclear why I would need to re-enter card information if my stay had already been confirmed. I don’t know where those details could have been sourced from, but it was a very uncomfortable experience.
