Gorgeous place to stay while you are at Kumano Kodo. Built in Onsen outside and inside. Traditional dinning room. Equipped kitchen. Option to buy instant food and drinks inside. Morning rice porridge, coffee, tea for free. Capsules are spacious and comfy. Personel is helpful to plan the route. Best stay over all 3 weeks in Japan.

Absolutely lovely hostel in a magical setting, Yunomine is a lovely spot, we stopped here at the end of our 2nd day hiking the Kumano Kodo (took a short bus ride from Hongu Tanisha end point) there are 3 onsen baths right in the hostel (one is outdoor)…but the yuzutsu public Onsen is also terrific. Private room was spacious and comfortable.
