Really lovely friendly staff. Comfortable beds and great cleanliness, the showers were as hot as anyone could want and the roof terrace is a nice place to relax. Nice restaurants very nearby. Breakfast was adequate, although the recommended pancakes aren't served until 09:30 and I had an early train at 09:15, so I didn't get to sample them.
Music until 23:00 or later, the lower the floor you're on, nearer to reception, the more you'll hear it, although I did like the 80's playlist. As with all hostels take your own eye mask and earplugs. I only stayed here for one night, would I stay here again? Yes. Would I stay for more than one night? Also yes 🙂

I was amazed by how lovely this place was. I had no idea hostels could be like this! The staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. They really facilitated a communal vibe and made it very easy to meet people. The kitchen is well stocked with a huge fridge that includes space for your food as well as a "free food" shelf. There is always cold water. There is laundry for a fee and a drawer of extra toiletries/sunscreen that folks need to leave behind. They lead a sunset walk every evening and it is really beautiful and a great way to bring everyone together. Folks usually end up going to dinner somewhere after. The other reviews weren't lying, the pancake breakfast is amazing. I am still in awe of how clean everything was and there are SO. MANY. BATHROOMS. Don't skip the one on the roof, it's basically an outdoor shower and was such a nice experience. There are a few hammocks up there which is very comfy and a great place to grab some peaceful time to yourself. The beds were comfy enough, even tho I have trouble sleeping in a dorm. There is a little shelf in the bunk and a light and outlet to charge things. The curtains work well and it feels pretty private. Highly recommend, definitely changed how I see hostels.
The pillow was a little lackluster and the beds make some noise when you move around, but that is to be expected I think.
