I really enjoyed my stay here!
It’s a traditional house modernised to a really high standard. It is bright and welcoming the minute you walk through the front door. Everywhere is super clean, very well presented and looked after. The room was comfortable and bright with lots of storage, air-con and I appreciated the black out curtains. The doors to the room are also modern and solid so it felt very private despite being at the front of the house. Free water in the room was very much appreciated. The communal kitchen with everything you might need is great and kept immaculate.
The real special feature for me however was the wonderful roof terrace where I thoroughly enjoyed my (unlimited free!) morning coffees in the sun. It’s a little tranquil oasis up there with lovely plants. This is a place where everything is really thought out and the owners really care about their property and guests experience! Communication with Bernardo has also been superb throughout my stay. Can’t recommend it enough! Thank you :)
Nothing, everything was great!

Overall great experience and convenient location - walking distance to the train station, bus station, a grocery store and numerous restaurants. Everything was clean, the other people staying in the hotel were respectful, the bed was very comfy. I loved having access to a kitchen to store food to make breakfast, and the roof terrace was lovely as well. There's no reception but the person in charge made sure all my questions were answered right away.
There's not really a proper luggage storage area. You're allowed to leave your bags there after check out but it's a space under a table in a hallway, not really supervised by anyone. I did leave my bags there for a couple of hours and it was fine but initially it made me a little nervous.

Comfortable bed, central location. Very friendly host. We appreciate the air conditioning and that we wee allowed to store our bags before and after the stay.

- location was very central
- can’t thank Bernardo enough for how nice, helpful, and responsive he was. Really incredible service! We both really appreciated how much he went out of his way to help us with everything we asked for
- other guests also very kind and respectful
- extremely noisy all night (garbage trucks, people shouting, construction, horns honking, etc). I didn’t sleep for the three nights we were there (of course this isn’t the fault of the owner - the accommodation is facing a Main Street so windows closed, ear plugs in, nothing made a difference and we could hear all the noise outside)
- the space is too small for two people
- not much storage space for two people’s backpacks and items without us tripping over them because of lack of space
- we were in room #6, and the pictures of the place definitely made the room look bigger than it was
