Fabulously friendly hardworking staff made my brief stay really special. Comfy and well appointed, and a really delicious breakfast included for a good price. 👍
Steep, narrow staircase to upstairs rooms isn't ideal for everyone I suppose but fine for me.

Very close to Tube, Thaneslink and overground and very quiet despite the pub under the rooms
A bit stuffy in the room

Location was great, close to where I needed to be for work.
Unfortunately, there was very little ventilation and airflow in the upper rooms, so my room was consistently very warm, uncomfortably so, it actually felt way warmer inside than outside. I was also next to a fire door that wasn’t fully damped, so every time someone entered or exited the floor, the door slammed right behind my headboard. Additionally, the toilet didn’t flush properly, and there was a slight smell of dampness coming from the AC unit.
