We didn't get the chance to meet Desmond, but we certainly felt very welcome in the house.
The heat was on in the room, there were water bottles and chocolates, and there was even a Spanish flag 🤗
The room, bathroom and kitchen are sooo cozy and clean. We had a great breakfast where we could cook and arrange whatever we wanted.
It's definitely worth it if it fits your schedule.

I arrived early but that was not a problem I was given tea and cake while my room was got ready. Amazing range of drinks available. Also so much to choose from for breakfast. Lots of lights on movement sensors no fumbling for light switches. Guest lounge for TV, lovely to not have to sit in bedroom. Good information about housekeeping given, recycling etc.
Nothing I could fault. The small inconvenience of shared bathroom was completely outweighed by all the thought that had been put into everything else.

Desmond was a fantastic host, very friendly, and nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was self-service continental, and the range of options was unbelievable. Desmond even drove us to the wedding we were attending.
