Location was excellent. The first lady on reception was great .Breakfast was great with a fabulous choice . Fittings in all rooms were quality
No free water in room and water in mini-bar was €6.90 !. Fridge was so small nothing could be put in.
There was a noise in our room which woke us early each day but reception didn't seem to listen.we also said we needed a taxi only to find later that she hadn't ordered one
You could easily hear guests in neighbouring rooms
One member of staff really annoyed us as she asked us to move to another table as she had set it up for dining and we only wanted a drink - only to find that only one of the 22 tables was used for eating !
Cleaning ladies were not friendly
Swimming pool was freezing cold and there is only space around it for a small number of people.
THIS WOULD NOT BE A 5 STAR HOTEL IN THE UK
We paid €250 a night but I feel €160 is a fair price

Our stay was great, our room had an interior courtyard that gave us a perfect private outdoor area, and the room itself was stunning. Since we were facing the interior, our room was super quiet and we got great sleep in the beds. The staff were great. They even had a welcome gift for our puppy, it was great.
There really was nothing to dislike. It was an excellent stay all around, no complaints from us here! thanks so much for our stay!

It’s a beautiful building, breakfast was good
Whilst this is definitely a ‘first world problem’ … it is a 5 star hotel, and you pay accordingly, yet the first 2 days we had no robes, slippers or tissues in our room 🙄 After the maid had been the 2nd day and still nothing had appeared , I had to ask for them.
