Host was very friendly, even helping us take our luggage to the nearby airport bus stop. He also supplied a map and made suggestions of what to do in Catania. There was a lounge area (with a few tables and chairs) outside the rooms where it was possible to eat breakfast (packaged muffins and an expresso machine were available) or use your laptop computer. The WiFi worked well. Bottled water was supplied. This accommodation is good for a night or two when arriving from or departing to Catania airport, and is near the historic area and many restaurants and bars. There was a small elevator (rooms were on the 4th floor).
Room was quite small and there were no suitcase racks (nor space for them). Bathroom was large and some of its extra space would have been better situated in the bedroom. The mini-fridge did not have a freezer section. Paper envelopes of a small amount of shampoo (which was full of non-organic chemicals), and tiny bars of soap were supplied, instead of liquid hand soap or containers of shampoo and shower soap.

We stayed at the EH13 to go yo an opera at the Metropolitan Theatre so we wanted somewhere close . It was literally next door ! Only needed one night stay so compact room perfect . Room had balcony with views across the roof tops and lovely place to sit pig on . Central sitting area with balcony and coffee machine made it feel bigger than just the room more hotel like
Nothing

I loved the location, parking is available nearby and city's spots are easily reachable on walking distance. You just need to cross the street to enjoy an awesome breakfast at Savia or Spinella, the best places in Catania for granita&brioche. Salvatore was really kind and helpful during our stay.
I would have appreciate a long mirror.. behind the door there is the perfect space to put it! I would definitely go back and leave a 10 with this plus!
