Direkt gegenüber ist ein Markt, weshalb in den frühen Morgenstunden reger Betrieb herrscht. Hier helfen Oropax ;)

A charming hotel, with the proprietor Ruben's sculptures in the pretty garden and elsewhere adding interest. My room was very comfortable with a nice soft mattress and pillow, the hot shower the best throughout my month's visit to Peru, lovely view from the window and very quiet at night in spite of a large number of dogs in the vicinity. Ruben was very friendly, welcoming and helpful - and is quite a character! In all I highly recommend this hotel.

Good location so not to have to get up so early for Salkantay Trek, though getting a bus wasn't that easy as they were all full from Cusco.
When turning up it looked like it was closed and were sent away before being asked to come back. It was a building site and work continued till 10pm despite all guests going to bed early ready for an early start on the morning. Payment was confusing and changed multiple times the night of arrival and then we were made to pay extra in the morning for a booking.com fee (never paid it elsewhere and then they claimed I didn't stay on booking.com) to be let out. The beds weren't clean and there were hairs on the pillow. Inconsistency in facilities for each room. Patchy WIFI. Food prices were crazy expensive (even for Western standards) especially when you can get food in the area for standard Peruivan prices. Wouldn't stay again
