The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything about the property was lovely, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding service from the staff. I would like to highly commend our manager, Chloe. She reached out to us well before our arrival to provide all the necessary details, including clear information about the hotel’s shuttle and transfer services. Upon our arrival and throughout our entire stay, Chloe was incredibly attentive and efficiently resolved any questions we had. Her high level of professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction is truly remarkable. Another wonderful highlight of our trip was our waitress, Taissia, during breakfast. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and hospitable every single morning. Taissia always gave us excellent recommendations on what dishes to try and was quick to offer and top up our drinks. Her bright energy made our mornings so much better. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Chloe and Taissia, for making our stay so special. We cannot wait to return!

Отель на отпуск на Хайнане выбирала очень тщательно и отель полностью оправдал ожидания. Территория большая, очень зеленая и ухоженная, все продумано до мелочей. Чистота, еда и отеля, и пляжа - все на высшем уровне. Но особенно хочется выделить подход к гостям. На протяжении всего отпуска по любому вопросу нам помогала прекрасная англоговорящая девушка Chloe из Франции. Обращались по любому вопросу: переехать в другую виллу (делали апгрейд), заказать стол в ресторане (даже не относящемся к отелю), сдать в химчистку и пр. Стоило написать Chloe в WeChat и вопрос решен. Благодаря Chloe можно было исключительно наслаждаться отдыхом! Обязательно вернемся в этот отель!

Rooms nice with a peek of the ocean. It is convenient to the China Duty Free Mall - a huge shopping complex and reason we chose to stay here. Chloe the guest relations person was excellent before we arrived in communications, however she was unable to meet us on arrival. The housekeeping lady who cleaned our room was exceptional. The breakfast staff were also good and the offerings were good. Our expectations were high because this is a Westin property.

The concierge, porters were unfriendly and a bit surly; the receptionist checking us in were quite amateur e.g. we didn't know where lifts were & he just pointed in the direction of it. Also, the shuttle buses are not frequent so we had to take a taxi to & from airport. It is a massive property, so quite impersonal.

Location is great if you want to shop, the beach bar / lounge area was very nice even after the rain, need to get there early though if you want a lounger.

Two of the pools were closed for maintenance, but it didn't really matter as it rained most of the weekend. Unfortunately as I was passing through the lobby there was dog feces ( I hope) being cleaned up, how this could happen I don't know. My room wasn't cleaned due to housekeeping misunderstanding the clean up room green light for do not disturb (one is green, one is red) My final disappointment is why, with such an amazing garden space, would you put the gym in B2 with no windows, natural daylight or view, it felt damp and the lighting colour temp was really low (2500K). Not appealing at all.
