I had such a lovely stay! Mara and her dad were both incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. They were always happy to help with anything I needed, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

I stayed in ‘Alla Porta di Baccio’ recently and my partner and I were so happy with the experience. The hosts were remarkably kind and welcoming and super down-to-earth, our room was clean and comfortable and nice looking, and the location is perfect if you want to experience staying in a smaller town to see the everyday italian vibes without the touristy atmosphere, whilst also being close to the city of Florence by train.
We also wanted to thank Alberto, as we were taken aback by his beautiful consideration with his guests. He’s present, helpful and close to people who come, which immediately makes you feel at home.
If we go back to Florence, we will definitely stay here again.
Grazie! 🇮🇹❤️

It was really cold in the room. Heater was working during the day when we were out, during the night heaters were off. I understand government regulations, but you could start heating in the evening when people actually stays at apartment.
I've sent two messeges in regards to temperature, without any response.
Breakfasts were small - just coffe and croissant.
