Really close to York city centre and the train station.
We had a private triple room and it was so quiet we could’ve been in our own house!!
Could’ve done with another pillow for the double bed

It's close to the train station.
Even the twin room with an ensuite bathroom is like being in the rest of the hostel. The beds were bunk, the bathroom was tiny. The toilet leaked all over the floor. They offered to move us but we didn't feel like packing and unpacking. The water temperature in the sink and the shower is uncontrollable. It's either scalding hot or freezing cold. The entire place is old and what they call a breakfast is awful. They really shouldn't be able to charge as much as they do for a private room.
