This is not a fancy hotel, but a pleasant, slightly frumpy place in a lovely old Athens historic building with quirky decor. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Very comfy bed. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. There are a couple of nice public lounge areas to sit, and a very good breakfast is served in a room off the entrance. The location is excellent, on a quiet side street at the edge of the Plaka, so you are in easy walking distance of the main sights in central Athens, as well as the Syntagma metro station.
This is an old historic building, so the walls are rather thin and there was a certain amount of noise, but not a problem, by any means. Definitely recommend for a good value stay in central Athens.

Stairs bathrooms advertise walk in shower was more like a small RV wet bath. Two of our party ended up with bed bugs
