The best staff, food in the restaurant was amazing and 10/10 service. Rooms so comfortable and the spa was amazing.

Location is wonderful. Big parking lot, easy to navigate. Water views from our room. Staff was absolutely lovely, especially Grainne. She went above and beyond to help us out of a car trouble pickle we were in. Also loved the coal fires in the evening.

The location is great
The photos are totally deceiving. This hotel is run down, they’re letting it age badly and not taking care of it at all. There is a trafficked road between the hotel and the lake so don’t let the photos deceive you. Also the spa is ridiculously disappointing. 2 Hot tubs, of which only one works and you have to pay an extra £15 to use it for 25 minutes. That’s all the “spa” has to offer plus a sauna and a dirty water cold plunge. The room was clean but it had cobwebs on the ceiling. There was a strange sound during the night of something hitting the drains or the roof that kept us up all night.
