Hotel La Fortezza is renovated, new and clean. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom & shower are fantastic. The staff were very helpful! The location was good. We ate at Il Clarinetto twice, a five minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant was lovely, well priced, excellent house wine and food.
We did not like having to pay an extra 20 euro per night to park our car on site.

The staff were friendly and efficient and the rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious with enough range to suit the health conscious to the sweet toothed.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit and pastries, and eggs and fruit.
The air con could not be turned down below 20 Celsius. I would’ve liked it at 18 for sleeping.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly
Booking.com does not list that the parking is additional to the room fee - 20 euros per night. Had I been aware of this on the Booking.com site I would have looked elsewhere. My single room was not refurbished so the photographs on the website did not reflect the room that I would be staying in. That said it was clean, quiet and comfortable (for something akin to the size of a prison cell)
