Clean and simple room and shared shower. Free coffee and tea for breakfast. Quiet neighborhood with different nice restaurants.
Shared toilettes for men and women that we met dirty at times

The location and the facilities.
Nothing realy slightly outdated but for the price that is totally irrelevant.

Ok, I went for Oktoberfest.
The really good thing about the place is that it's only about 1/2 mile from the main Oktoberfest Fair Ground. That said, it's a bit far from Old Town, hoofing it. Actually, not so bad if you're younger. However, I believe there's easy subway access to Old Town, like maybe ten minutes away.
There was a shared bath and shower. The bath and shower were different rooms.
My room was right next to the bathroom. My final night there I was awoken by (I believe it was) a woman vomiting and such in the bathroom. It went on for a long-ish time and sounded truly disgusting what was going on in there.
No doubt she had a good time at Oktoberfest!
Anyway, I eventually fell back to sleep and then got up and rushed about packing 'cause I had to get to the airport. I really hadn't seen or interacted with the people running the place for the few days I had stayed there. I found someone and asked him to get me a cab to the airport.
He was kind. But he mentioned he had a job ahead of him with the bathroom.
Then I remembered.
I told him -- I hope and think he believed me -- that it wasn't me who left whatever mess there was in there. ( I hadn't remembered about it when I awoke and didn't use the bathroom, thank goodness!)
I think he said whoever it was did try to clean it up but really couldn't / didn't do much.
He didn't seem angry but...nor was he particularly pleased about the task ahead of him.
Overall, not a bad place to stay for someone on a budget.
Quiet neighborhood, etc.
