The Crown Inn Pooley Bridge

We were very unlucky because we went there during a very bad storm. This meant that we got to spend a lot of time here and this place is amazing. The staff is so kind! They are all lovely, they also called me when we were driving there to ask me if they could prepare something for else to eat because we were arriving quite late! The room was big, clean and cozy. Our little dog was with us and she was allowed everywhere. Plus the food was delicious, and the breakfast! Probably the best breakfast we ever had in UK. Thank you so much for everything, you are all stars!

Everything was amazing, they saved our weekend.

Amazing place to stay, right in the centre of the village, a short walk to Ullswater shoreline and steamer boat trip launch. It had beautiful water and tree views from the garden only a few feet away! Amazing for breakfast which was served to you so a real treat! Clean, beautifully decorated, lots of space and calming/peaceful. The rooms were great with everything you need as well as super friendly and helpful staff. Bus stops 1 min away to get you around.. Recommended!
