It is such a beautiful old inn and the rooms have been modernised yet not taking away the quirkiness of the it’s character.

Cooked breakfast was okay but all I wanted was bacon and eggs but the foreign waitress couldn’t do that as the till only recognised a full breakfast as per the menu so I asked for the full breakfast without certain items but that blew her mind so I got the full breakfast and left most of it, what a waste.
Sarah the young lady behind the bar / receptionist / evening waitress was spot on.
It’s usually the cheapest of the 3 pubs in PB if you’re looking for a good deal but definitely not the best
Dining room has seen way better days and meals although not expensive were average.
No fruit juice or cereals at breakfast
