Beautiful character/historic hotel in a great location at the end of passage jouffroy.
We needed a value for money hotel for our last 3 days in France before heading for a flight a CDG airport. Hotel Chopin was perfect and the 20sqm room large by Paris stds. Passage des panoramas at the end of Jouffroy was full of nice eating places, something for all budgets. Walk to opera or La Fayette from hotel.By the way, the hotels regular taxi driver provides an excellent service, she was a very good driver and managed the logistics of parking and pickup very well. We thought this might be a hassle but it was handled very smoothly by both the hotel and their regular driver.
It’s a historic hotel, so it’s going to be old. There was an elevator to the upper rooms but you encounter 1st floor stairs and one or two steps in between. Turned out not to be a problem. There’s no Airconditioning in our room, so it would be a problem on a hot day. We were there in late September so room temp was good and windows gave good supply of fresh air in the evening of needed.probably would not stay here in the heat of summer, you would need aircon.

Wanted to sleep here for years. So cute and old stylish :)
Room a little bit noisy in the evening and the morning you can hear the others. But not the street. Also please Lipton in the morning???? Come on ! the teashop with quality tea is 10meters from you:)
