The hotel is simple but has a really special atmosphere. The staff did their best to help us with whatever we needed.
Outside the hotel, there are plenty of options to visit the pyramids, either by horse-drawn carriage with a guide or on foot. We decided not to take any of these offers because the prices are negotiable, meaning you never really know how much you might end up paying. However, the whole area has a unique atmosphere. It feels safe, with additional police checkpoints around the area.
Apart from the very persistent touts, ordinary local people were surprisingly helpful. They showed us how to get to the pyramids without asking for anything in return, which was almost unexpected!
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the ticket office and the entrance to the Giza pyramid complex near the Sphinx.
The rooftop restaurant offers absolutely stunning views, with the Sphinx right in front of you. You can also watch the Sound and Light Show from the rooftop in the evening.
And a special thank you for having a rooftop bar serving beer and other alcoholic drinks — a real bonus in this area!
Overall, a simple hotel with an unbeatable location, a fantastic rooftop view and a lot of character.
Tip: Double-check the hotel's address on Google Maps before you go, as there is a similarly named hotel in a neighbouring area.

Great view of the pyramids, excellent location. Staff very friendly. Very close to the pyramid ticket office. Room v clean, comfortable bed, safe and secure. Reception/hotel will organise a tour. Open 24 hours a day. Alcoholic beverages served in the rooftop

Friendly staff at all times. They are always ready to answer questions or to help out. Guys and lady at breakfast were always polite and very attentive. The best coffee. Best views upon the Pyramids day and night when lit.
They couldn't fix the TV. It remained at promises everyday without compliance. Barking of dogs in the middle of the night.

Location is very good.
They have suite rooms with great view of the pyramids.
Staff are good. Especially those in the restaurant.
Nice breakfast.
All other rooms are pretty average. A lift with a capacity of two people.
We did extend our stay for another day here as couldn’t find any markedly better ones in the nearby area..
