Room was fresh and clean and very comfortable
I was on the 3rd floor with no lift however I was very aware of this from booking.

Staff were gracious. Let us store our luggage before and after our stay. (our flight arrived in London many hours before checkin, and our train to Paris left a few hours after check out. Wonderful neighborhood -- great restaurants, parks, lively and cheerful atmosphere. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Hotel has a quaint, historic feel. Breakfast was excellent! Highly recommend, and we'd stay there again.

Room was clean and comfortable.
Location was very convenient for travel.
Breakfast was excellent.
Only disappointment was that windows were not double glazed and some noise persisted after bed time.

I love old buildings and this us Heorgian period I think.
Because it is a protected property and old there is no lift, however, it didn't matter as I had a room that was accessed by a flight of stairs.
