Contemporary, relaxing, city centre
Walls are thin(could hear quite a lot of doors slamming during night). Spa facilities are very small and quite limited for the size of hotel.

The breakfast was amazing, the staff were very helpful and friendly too. I also thought the size of the room was perfect for four of us.
The sofa bed needed an extra layer to make it more comfortable and the bathroom could have done with more thorough cleaning. The bed sheet also kept coming off the main bed.

Really friendly staff, great facilities and lovely big clean rooms. Centrally located and a good breakfast too.

Location was amazing staff were lovely
I booked a 2 night stay and it cost over £600 I was running the great north run so I expected it to be more expensive but I booked thinking I was getting a luxury room and spa which I never used btw the room I had wasn’t luxury it was poor dark dingy couldn’t turn the air con off so the room was so cold tv didn’t work water was lukewarm blocked sink and just not clean. I told the manager who very kindly upgraded me to a suite apartment so much better absolutely massive I just wish the lighting was better because it’s so dark in those rooms
