The riad was beautifully traditional, exactly what we were looking for when choosing to stay within the Medina. Its location was perfect, with everything within walking distance and some lovely restaurants just around the corner. The included breakfast was also delicious.
The real highlight, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist, who was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I fell ill on our first day, and she went out of her way to arrange a doctor’s appointment within walking distance and regularly checked in on me to see how I was feeling. All the staff made a genuine effort to speak with us and even arranged a taxi for our onward journey.
Despite being situated on such a busy street, the riad itself was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect retreat after a day spent exploring the Medina. We really appreciated the warmth and care shown by the staff and would happily recommend staying here.
We did struggle to locate the riad initially, it was further down the street than stated on booking.com and just down a side alley but we found it after getting directions from a local.
