Space and choice of facilities. While we didn't bring our dogs, being able to was a plus.
We didn't use the pool or other amenities so can't comment.
Went to have a drink at the bar but there were no staff around. We waited for a bit but then decided to go to the local pub instead. Having no staff around this area was a bit if a theme.

Amazing stay away and beautiful location!
Nothing! Loved it apart from the poor breakfast staff rushed off there feet and the food not being replenished quick enough! But over all great place and value

We up graded to a lodge ,best decision, only disappointment was the spa, dirty, badly run ,not really a spa just pool,steam,and sauna, all in need of an renovation and extention only 2 loungers, small 4 man hot tub, it is the only let down on the site

I liked where it was, but was very disappointed with the whole experience. The Manor House we stayed in was very tatty and needed serious renovation. Although room was clean it was like a square box with only room for bed and bedside cabinets. The windowsill was covered an inch in bird shit and it was all over the window, the guttering was falling down. The supposed spa facilities were down a hill, which was not much fun, as you had to walk outside in your bath robe. Food did not look very appetising and was very expensive. We came home after only two days.
I realise this should have been In The box, I only liked the location
