It is in a great location, stunning scenery and great base to explore. We were taking they ferry next day so ideal. Staff very helpful, Cooking / dining facilities very good, Rooms very clean and comfortable albeit in bunk beds. Nice and warm. Convenient to the local community pub which is very cosy and friendly.
It is a youth hostel and as such couldn't fault it.

A large hostel building in a superb location. Warm welcome from the staff member on duty and he kindly called to find out if the pub was still serving food - it was. I had a dormitory to myself, very luxurious, might have been quite a crowd if completely full. The shower was so powerful it nearly knocked me over - I'd come back just for the spa level pummelling it delivered to backpack weary shoulders! I had my own breakfast in the large back dining room but laid on breakfast looked fine.

Location excellent within walking distance of ferry and bus some parking available, clean and basic like most hostels with a good kitchen to prepare meals if you want to .
Despite there being radiators on it was cold in the lounges and bedroom. Lots of stairs and toilet was on the next floor . The showers had metal bases and didn’t look very inviting so didn’t use them
