We loved the location of Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour, which made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The staff were lovely, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. We especially appreciated how professionally they handled our concerns and made us feel comfortable.
The bathroom shower looked a little dated, and I noticed mould around the shower glass door, which was disappointing for a five-star hotel. The Wi-Fi connection was also poor on the night of our stay. We raised this at checkout, and the staff acknowledged that other guests had experienced similar issues. While the staff were very accommodating, I hope management can address these maintenance and connectivity concerns.
For EV charging, guests should also be aware that they need to bring their own three-pin car charging cable to charge their vehicle. It would be helpful if this requirement were communicated more clearly before arrival.

The room was comfortable, clean, had great amenities, and good privacy. The location was convenient for business meetings around the area.
The meeting room setup in the hotel was excellent for our group of 7, and so easy to book.
The French Press cafe was a great spot for a coffee overlooking the harbour.

Good location
The bus depot next door was quite noisy and some of the power points were not working. The kettle power point was faulty and the kettle plug had to be pulled half way out in order for it to work
