Albany is a town with a lot of history so that made the stay interesting. The motel room was clean, comfortable and easily accessible for a couple in earl eighties/late seventies on a two month driving holiday, where being able to park directly in front of the room to be able to resort the suitcases without having to lug them too far, was a bonus.
The motel had its own restaurant, Indian, which we both enjoyed.
We couldn't find anything not to like.

Great location, great facilities, on-site restaurant was a great bonus. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
There was an adjoining door in the room which wasn't secure enough. Bathroom basin was too slow, water gets trapped in seconds and takes too long to clear.

The room was ok. The bed was comfortable. the air conditioning worked fine. the room seemed clean, however the tiles, carpet and wallpaper were all very old. The restaurant was excellent.
The room was very dated. The tiles looked very old. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. The carpet was very old. The individual hot and cold water taps in the shower were difficult to adjust. the water pressure was woeful, and the water temperature kept changing from hot to cold even when you didn't touch the taps.
