Very good value for money. It was easy to check in and out (including late check-in), everything I needed for one night was included, and it is very easy to access from the airport.
Communication was confusing. Booking.com states check-in is only possible until 11pm but offers a field when you book that allows selecting check-in time up to 2am. Looking into it on other websites, I found out late check-in was available if I paid extra. I also received communication from the hotel telling me this and asking me to let them know if I wanted the option so I could pay ahead. I responded immediately (having booked in the morning for the same evening), but didn't get a response. I ended up calling a few hours later and was told it would be fine and didn't have to do anything, but then got an email just as I was about to board my flight (6+ hours after this) with a payment link and asking to let them know once it was paid. In the end it was all fine, but it was a little stressful.

I stay here regularly when I travel from Gatwick and it’s always a reliable experience, rooms are a bit dated but always clean and comfortable.

Being welcomed at 11 o'clock at night and prompt service to look our transfer back to the airport.
Very basic double room - definitely not 'superior'. Price was 'reduced' but more like normal for a 3 star room only basic set up.
