This is a wonderful spa hotel with wonderfully friendly staff and outstanding food. The hotel is getting a little bit "tired" round the edges, mainly in terms of paintwork - but otherwise this is a fabulous place to stay. The restaurant is great - I very much enjoyed the beef tartare and the duck breast which had so much depth of flavour. The wine list is extensive but not overly expensive. Breakfast was great. The spa was good - sauna and steam room at the right temperature. All in all, a really enjoyable stay.
As mentioned above, some of the decor (particularly externally) is getting a bit tired. But inside, the hotel is in good order - and wonderfully comfortable.

Lovely place, really friendly staff all round made for a fab stay
The only boggle was the time it took to get hot water through pipes but that was tiny issue compared to all the great stuff
