Location was central. Buffet breakfast was fine and had enough to eat. Hotel was authentic and had character. Staff were excellent. Facilities in room were fine with decent shower room
Had scaffolding outside window which blocked view of canal.
Caution needed on very steep stairs. (No lift which would not be practical given the hotel character)
Tea and coffee facilities were in downstairs lounge and not in room.
Don't expect a modern hotel.
