Very nice, well maintenanced, easy aces to the old town center, about 10m walking distance
Parking and stairs. You park the car close to the hotel, then you have to go about 50 stairs with the luggage to reach the entrance. Then from reception 10-25 more to the elevator. Specially if it’s rainy it gets very slippery and it’s difficult to go with all the suitcases from the parking to the hotel entrance or the opposite

The location is great. The staff was very nice and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was AWESOME. View of Brasov is amazing. Hotel grounds are nice and updated. Awesome water pressure.
Parking is tough. Bar onsite is run by the front desk person so not exactly continuous service. AC didn't really work. Lots of bugs got it when the windows were opened to cool it down.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days. I preferred Brasov to Bucharest - it feels less hurried and is an affluent area of Romania. The room was well-sized with a separate room for bathroom. It was very clean and regularly serviced every day by the cleaning staff.
The hotel is situated less than a mile from the town centre and therefore within walking distance. We frequented 3 pubs on our short stay Tipografia (pub with a cool vibe) and Terroirs Boutique De Vin (wine bar) - they are next door to each other. In addition, we also went to the Old Town Bar which is in a side street off the Town Square.
The breakfast each day was standard buffet style with a choice of continental/English Breakfast. I would have liked the opportunity to have an omelette one day but I never asked the staff.
On the Saturday night, we were advised about a DJ playing at the Square which is a club opposite the Old Town Pub. It had a small dance floor that could probably hold 50 people maximum but he (the DJ) played proper dance music and it stayed open until 5am. I am a bit older so I went for a couple of hours and left at about 2am which was enough dancing for me.
We also visited 2 Castles- Bran Castle and Cantacuzino Castle in Busteni. Bran Castle can only be accessed by a local bus from Brasov station ( no direct service by train) or Uber. Note that there is a bus and train service at Brasov train station. It takes just over an hour to get there by bus and it is cheap ( about 3 to 5 Euro). Cantacuzino Castle can be accessed from Brasov station by train. If you want to visit these castles my advice would be to book a guided tour - although the exterior of these castles is beautiful there is not a great deal to see inside either as during the Communist era the contents tended to disappear.
During my stay the staff were excellent and a big thank you to the receptionists Gabriella, Nicoleta and Magdalena. They were extremely helpful about places to visit and how to travel there.
I really enjoyed my stay. No fault of the hotel, but I could not get to see Peles Castle in Sinaia on the Monday of my stay. It is one of Romania's prettiest castles and you need to book several days in advance to guarantee a visit inside the castle.
We went for a hike up Tampa Mountain. You must be careful as the Brown Bears do roam on the mountain (we did not meet any during our hike).

Lovely breakfast, lovely room.
PARKING is extremely limited only 15 spaces for over 70 rooms and preferential treatment given to Romanian's - we watched as a member of staff moved their car to allow a Romanian to park, this option was not offered to us the evening before when the same vehicle was in a hotel space.
Breakfast was on the top floor and only accessible by stairs.
